Seeing as to how it’s winter here and I’ve been wasting obscene amounts of time watching episode after episode of “30 Rock” on my computer, I’ve decided to restart the more productive habit of blogging once again. I took this photo on Sunday when Scoops and I were walking on Lake Superior north of Washburn, Wis. That’s Sioux Beach in the background.

For the last few weeks, I have been trying to thwart my growing ennui with snowshoeing trips into the great outdoors. And so poor, cold-susceptible Scoops — recently shorn due to my lax grooming attention — has become my adventure accomplice. Is it just me, or does he look a little irritated in this picture?
